Site Condition

The grading landscape began with a detailed analysis of the area’s contour with the intention to replicate the natural cliff. The selected plants of choice are a wide range of grass species that help prevent landslide and runoff from heavy rain in the wet season which takes place around 159 days in a year from the Southwest monsoon season and Northeast monsoon season.

Site Analysis

Site Potential

Plants selection based on the native trees, local shrub and variety of grasses species in order to protect the land slide and over runoff. Also, visual factor is one of significant key to plan the planting area surround the villas.

Stones’ position

According the existing site, there are a lot of stones to reuse in the landscape design. So, I decided to select stones by its size and shape and locate its in the courtyard, grading slope , and entrance area.

Landscape Design

The Samui Villa’s Landscape situated amidst a dense green rural area with the design concept of “Design with Nature” harmonizing luxury Villa structure as part of the surrounding environment. The establishment was settled on the cliff, enabling panoramic ocean view along with the grading landscape coating with various species grassland.

Ms. Kasinphila demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication throughout the project. She was responsible for designing the overall layout of the gardens and selecting the plants and features that would be included. Her attention to detail and creative flair were evident in the final result, which was nothing short of stunning.
