LoFi AR : Through The Window
Step outside your room and craft your own scene, channeling the design ethos of Hwang Seontae's serene "light box" art. Use a piece of paper to frame a slice of your world—whether it’s a landscape, the sky above, the city's pulse, or a pet's quiet moment. This creative window will transform everyday views into a tableau of tranquility, reflecting the interplay of light and life through your own perspective.
Create the view
Drawing inspiration from Hwang Seontae's light box art, I've designed my own scenes framed by paper to capture two contrasting views: the tranquil skyline from my apartment's rooftop and the bustling streets of downtown Brooklyn. Each view presents a unique mood – the calmness of the skyline contrasts with the vibrant energy of the city's traffic.
Make the frame
1. Print the Photos: Print the images to fit the size of the frame.
2. Create a Paper Frame: Use a knife cutter to cut out an outline in the shape of windows on a paper sheet, to use as a viewfinder.
3. Select Scenes: Choose diverse scenes, such as a rooftop skyline and a downtown street view.
4. Photograph Your Views: Capture pictures of both the skyline and the street scene.

Create your dress
Create a custom dress design using a cut-out of a dress as a frame to capture a photo of a scene, turning everyday views into a wearable piece of art. This concept blends photography with fashion, allowing you to wear a moment in time. Inspired by interactive Instagram stories where users can place images within pre-defined outlines, this idea takes it a step further by integrating real-world views into the design of the dress.
