Design Process
Sketching the Design
Start with conceptual sketches of the capsule box with isometric views.
Define dimensions and proportions that are pleasing to the eye and functional.
Ensure the design accounts for the wood grain and cutting path for aesthetics and integrity.
Preparing the Wood
Choose triangle wood pieces, considering the grain and color for the final look.
Mark the capsule outline on the wood accurately, leaving some allowance for sanding and finishing.
Cutting the Wood
Use a sawing machine to cut along the marked outline. The saw should be suitable for making precision cuts and curves.
Carefully cut the two halves of the capsule, ensuring they mirror each other for a perfect fit.
Sanding and Molding
Employ a sandpaper machine to mold the wood into a rounded, capsule-like shape. This
Progress through finer grits of sandpaper for a silky-smooth texture.
Creating the Lid
Design the lid to fit snugly while allowing easy opening and closing.
The lid might require manual fine-tuning with hand sanding to achieve a perfect fit.
Finishing Touches
Consider adding a small screw or handle to the lid for easy opening.
