Alumni feedback

The overall feedback pushes towards a more user-friendly, impactful, and visually cohesive design that emphasizes the power of both individual and collective action to improve air quality, water quality and increase green space in Bangkok, Thailand.

Enhance Options & Interactivity:

  1. Action: Replace placeholder options (A, B, C) with specific, actionable choices related to environmental impact (e.g., "Use public transport," "Reduce meat consumption"). Add icons or visual cues. Use interactive elements like radio buttons or checkboxes.

  2. Rationale: Make the choices more concrete and engaging for the user.

Elevate AR Experience & Storytelling:

  1. Action: Add compelling storytelling elements to the AR experience, illustrating the impact of choices in a visually engaging way. Clearly communicate the AR experience's value.

  2. Rationale: Leverage AR to create an immersive narrative about environmental impact and link individual actions to broader consequences.

Streamline User Journey and Information Architecture:

  1. Action: Keep the main user journey simple and intuitive. Separate primary information (key messages) from secondary details (explanations, context) using progressive disclosure (e.g., tooltips, expandable sections).

  2. Rationale: Cater to users who may be "lazy" while providing depth for those who want more information.

Strengthen Call to Action & Collective Impact:

  1. Action: Implement strong calls to action that encourage users to take meaningful steps (e.g., donate, collaborate with organizations, influence government). Emphasize collective action and inspire users to affect broader systems.

  2. Rationale: Move users beyond individual actions to consider systemic change and larger impacts.

Ensure Visual Cohesion:

  1. Action: Maintain consistency between real images and sketch-style illustrations. Use animations and transitions to enhance the visual appeal.

  2. Rationale: Create a polished and engaging visual experience that reinforces the core message.

Refine Headline & Messaging:

  1. Action: Use more specific, action-oriented headlines that resonate with users. E.g., "See How Your Choices Impact Bangkok's Air," "Make a Difference: Take Action for Cleaner Air."

  2. Rationale: To immediately grab user attention and focus on environmental choices.
