Launch of an online platform to enhance sales and brand engagement

  • Launched an online platform for Oliu Skincare, a Cosmeceutical Skincare brand (an offline shop in Bangkok, Thailand)

  • Aimed to increase online sales and boost brand perception through their website, oliuofficial.com.

  • Implemented a search feature to provide results matching specific skincare types.

Defining the Problem

  • Difficulty in identifying skincare products that are suitable for specific skin issues.

  • Lack of access to professional advice from dermatologists.

  • Challenges in finding skincare brands that are reliable and doctor-recommended.

  • Misleading marketing tactics employed by skincare companies.

  • Frequent allergic reactions to a range of skincare brands.

Persona

Thanaporn, users who cannot find the right skincare for their skin type.

Goal
Identify the right skincare products for specific skin issues.
Receive advice from dermatologists.
Find trustworthy skincare brands recommended by doctors.

Frustrations
Misleading brand marketing from skincare companies.
Tendency to purchase skincare based on influencer recommendations.
Experiencing allergic reactions to various skincare brands.

Site Map

Core features: Search for skincare products by skin type and specific issues. Get recommendations for medical skincare, access skincare reviews, and explore all Cosmeceutical Skincare brands.

I conducted a card sort to understand how users might expect the content to be organized. The insights gained were used to create a sitemap.

User Flow

The user flow diagram illustrates user interactions starting from the home page, leading to the exploration of skincare products on the Category Products page. One user journey involves selecting a preferred skincare product from the product listing page, reading its details on the product detail page, and proceeding to make a purchase. Another journey includes reading articles and selecting recommended brands, followed by choosing products on the brand listing page and completing the purchase.

Search by skin types and issues

Our search tool is designed to match skincare solutions to individual skin types and specific issues, such as dryness, oiliness, or sensitivity. The platform aggregates a comprehensive range of medical skincare products to address these unique needs, all curated with dermatological expertise.

Online shopping

This platform offers an enhanced skincare shopping experience, showcasing detailed product information, reviews, and dermatologist advice, focusing on personalized skincare solutions tailored to individual skin needs, rather than generic influencer marketing.

Blog, Reviews, and Expert Skincare Advice

The platform's blogs and reviews, coupled with dermatologist advice, help customers choose suitable medical skincare products and practices for their specific skin types and concerns.
